What is an Axial Fan?

An axial fan is a type of fan commonly used within everyday applications, such as air conditioners and computers. It causes both air and gas (depending on the application) to flow directly through it in an axial direction at different speeds. Allowing the air flow to be axial and both entry and exit. The most common versions tend to have fewer impeller blades than conventional duct fans or centrifugal fans which have similar operations.

What kind of safety features are available with this fan?

A great safety aspect would be included with the motor. It provides overload protection, removing the risk of electrical surges or damage from excess energy pressure to the axial fan motor itself. This provides peace of mind that once the axial fan is mounted and operational, its ventilation or cooling process will continue to run with virtually no risk.

Does this fan use sleeve bearings or ball bearings?

This range of axial fans uses sleeve bearings. Although both are suitable for virtually the same applications. Sleeve bearings have the advantage of both their low cost and low energy ratings. Ensuring a cost effective way of both cooling and ventilating applications.
