RS PRO Black Female Banana Socket, 1000 V, 24 A
This 4 mm test socket from RS PRO is designed to fit standard banana test plugs. It's designed with a space for a shroud to slide into, meaning you can use it with shrouded, unshrouded and retractable shroud plugs. The socket has a screw thread and nut on the back to allow for secure panel mounting. On the rear is a solder tag that lets you solder a wire to the connector.
The test socket is intended for temporary connections to a device, whether to power it during testing and development or to connect a multimeter or oscilloscope. The shrouded design allows it to be safely used at voltages up to 1000 V. If used for carrying power, the socket has a current rating of 24 A.
