The device is the key to examining equipment such as projectors, laptop chargers and computers. It's easily compatible with AV and IT leads, thanks to its cloverleaf design. There's no need for tools to install it as you simply push it into place by hand. Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the process by which electrical equipment, devices and appliances are tested for safe use. In the UK, it's a legal requirement under Health and Safety Executive regulations that mean items must be tested regularly in the workplace.
