Circuit Breakers 3 Pole - 3RV10 & 3RV13 Range Siemens 3RV10 and 3RV13 moulded case circuit breakers are compact, current limiting motor starter protectors which can be uséd in motor feeders for special voltages of 440V, 480V, 550V and 690V. They are uséd for switching and protecting induction motors and other loads with rated currents up to 800A. For motor protection the overload and short-circuit releases are designed for optimized protection and direct starting of induction squirrel cage motors. The motor starter protectors have an electronic release which not only provides short circuit and overload protection but is also sensitive to phase failure and phase unbalance and offers protection in the event of rotor blockage. For starter combinations these moulded case motor starter protectors are uséd for short circuit protection in combinations of circuit breaker, motor contactor and overload relay. They are equipped with a purely magnetic release (up to 32A) or a electronic release (100A to 800A). High short circuit breaking capacity in the feeder Optimum usability in load feeders for the special voltages 440V, 480V, 550V and 690V Compact design The releases are available both in purely magnetic (up to 32 A) and in solid-state versions (100A to 800A) 注 Most of the Sirius 3R components are available with cage clamp connections. For the size S00 products, with rating up to 5.5kW, this includes both power and control circuit connections. For higher rated products cage clamp is available for the control wiring connections such as operating coils and auxiliary contacts. Siemens SIRIUS Cage Clamp Technology As an alternative to screw connections a large number of Siemens low voltage components are also available with cage clamp connections.,Solid, stranded and finely stranded conductors, with or without end sleeves, can be connected, where two conductors can be clamped independent of one another at each terminal.,Inserting a flat bladed screwdriver opens the terminal; the conductor is then introduced and securely clamped following the removal of the screwdriver. The chromium-nickel spring steel of the cage clamp terminal guarantees corrosion resistant contact of the conductors. Advantages Time saving: the connection can be made quickly without having to press on end sleeves Reliability: the terminal connection is resistant to shock and vibration Vertical Mounting Reduced maintenance: the cage clamp system means that the checking of screw connections following transportation is unnecessary.
