Hoods for D Subminiature connectors from ASSMANN WSW components are designed in accordance to the DIN 41652 for D-Subminiature connectors. D-Subminiature connectors, which are used as I/O connectors do normally need a protection against touch, dust and on special requirement against splash water or have to be water tight. Hoods are protecting crimp- and IDC connections. Various applications within different markets, mainly the industrial, computer, telecom and medicine market show an increasing demand. Special hoods do find their application within military and maritime markets. This high level of variety of applications and market requirements requires a full selection of different hoods.
